We have a dream: a waste free world
In a context of mutual sharing and enrichment, during the Fuorisalone exhibition (from Tuesday 17th to Sunday 22nd April) both inside and outside the showroom and in addition to exhibiting its product novelties, we will be making room for some handicraft and non-handicraft businesses that are close to the world of company responsibility and to the theories of degrowth, theories that have particularly inspired the demode engineered by Valcucine brand with its innovative Meccanica furniture system.
On some of the work islands of Meccanica, IrideFixed, Caira Design, Patagonia Milano and ecocucina.org will repair, recycle, reuse and restore your products while showing you the manual aspects of these processes that is not usually emphasised enough.
Caira design, inspired by the most experimental architectural, will destructure and recompose vintage bags using your old trousers (don't forget to bring a tie in with you if you want a shoulder bag!!).
Based on the motto ”to do, not to delegate” IrideFixed wants to offer everyone a bike that reflects the personality of the rider. During the Fuorisalone exhibition the company will repair your bikes or transform them into beautiful exercise bikes (a fee will be charged).
Ecocucina.org will be presenting a new way of cooking, a sustainable way that wastes nothing. We look forward to meeting you at 6.30 p.m. to prepare delicious snacks from foods that the catering industry discards.
Patagonia, Inc., the Californian outdoor clothing and apparel company, internationally renowned for its commitment to high-quality production and for its environmental activism, will collect your used batteries and subsequently recycle them while explaining the process to you.
