World's best contract projects featuring Valcucine kitchens
The latest spectacular celebration of the world's best contract projects featuring Valcucine kitchens.
From a curved residential building in Hong Kong to Jean Nouvel's “vision machine” in New York, from the redevelopment of a Warehouse in the crowded area of Southwark, London, to the private luxury houses of Sentosa Cove, Singapore, Valcucine and architecture fans can here discover World's best architectures featuring our sustainable and innovative kitchens.
The modern idea of a residence as a “vision machine” goes back at least to Le Corbusier, whose 1930's Beistegui penthouse along the Champs-Elysées had a periscope through which the client could look out over Paris.
Amongst the World's best architectures and contract projects featuring Valcucine kitchens, 100 Eleventh Avenue in New York, designed by Jean Nouvel Architects is an example of “vision machine” (cover image).
The spectacular architecture is comprised of approximately 1,647 completely different colorless windowpanes organized within enormous steel-framed “megapanels” that range from 11 to 16 feet tall and as wide as 37 feet across. Each windowpane inside these megapanels is tilted at a different angle and in a different direction.
Our steel Artematica kitchens flow spatially into open living areas and are designed with luxury fixtures custom designed by Jean Nouvel to achieve the highest level of design excellence and to compliment art and furniture.
Another amazing architecture featuring a Valcucine kitchen is the B' Tower in Rotterdam, designed by Wiel Arets Architects. Located in the center of Rotterdam, immediately adjacent to the Bijenkorf department store by Marcel Breuer, the tower comprises a hybrid of urban programs disposed in three volumes of similar height but varying width.
The volume that meets the ground, which rises to the height of the Bijenkorf store, houses a fashion store and parking garage, while the two upper volumes that rise above the department store contain apartments.
Amongst the amazing contract projects featuring Valcucine, The Orion in New York designed by Cetra/Ruddy can't be missing.
The Orion is a towering, 60-storey glass residential building in Midtown West that was completed in 2006 and has since been the apple of many buyer's and renter's eyes. It is pricey, but it dazzles. No wonder it was named after one of the most conspicuous constellations in the sky.
The elegant and sculptural tower contains 550 apartments, most of which feature dramatic 360-degree views of the Hudson River, Central Park, New Jersey and Manhattan.
While in New York you can find our kitchens in spectacular high-rise towers, in London they furnish luxurious apartments in different Victorian style buildings.
Among all, we want to mention the Tea Trade Wharf, part of the transformation of Butler's Wharf. The 4.5-hectare site blends the conversion of historic warehouses with new buildings, while offering a mixture of residential apartments, office space, restaurants, shops and cultural amenities.
The conversion of the main building, now known as 34 Shad Thames, which was carried out to a design by Conrad Roche, was completed in 1989.
The transformation of the Clove Building, which was carried out to a design by Allies and Morrison and was completed in 1990 and the conversion of Tea Trade Wharf, which was carried out to a design by OSEL Architecture, was completed in 2003.
Jumping straight to the other side of the world another astonishing contract project featuring Valcucine is called The Repulse Bay's De Ricou in Hong Kong. The De Ricou residential building is designed by Hong Kong-based design firm plusClover.
It has an attractive landscape with countless scenic views and striking architectural designs. Because of its stunning beach and relaxing ambience, the area is a favourite destination of many for leisure.
It is considered as one of the most desirable places to live in HK. The design's signature is a texture of crisp plaster and warm oak wood that permeates from the ground floor into each apartment, producing newly connected experiences between common areas and units, and across floors and walls.
After New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, our architectural tour amongst the best architectures and contract projects featuring Valcucine kitchens ends in Moscow with The Cherry Orchard project.
The Cherry Orchard residential complex has a composite design with 8 buildings and it is part of a major urban redevelopment project designed by the British architecture firms John McAslan + Partners.
The interiors of the apartment have been designed by the interior design studio Fortyfour. Our Genius Loci and Artematica kitchens have been chosen by the interior designer for their timeless design, ergonomics, premium materials and sustainable features.
