Valcucine uses Corian® developed and produced by DuPont, the most famous brand of acrylic, and has chosen the
make’s most iconic colour: white.

This solid material features poor porosity and can be installed with unperceivable joints to create continuous, seamless
surfaces without any of the usual gaps that facilitate seepage of water, humidity or the accumulation of grime.
It contains substances that prevent the proliferation of bacteria, making it totally hygienic.
It is an inert, non-toxic material that is easy to take care of.

Although it is resistant, acrylic does call for a few precautions: it is advisable to always put a pot mat or another
heat-protection device on the worktop under red hot cookware and avoid chopping or cutting food directly on the
surface.
