History

1980 - 1989

Valcucine's first ten years were distinguished by the production of kitchens with a high potential for customisation and featuring innovative production processes that determined their success. Artematica, the kitchen that became Valcucine’s iconic product and a benchmark for the sector, was born at the end of this decade.

1980

The 17th March Valcucine was founded thanks to the passion of the 4 entrepreneurs.

1981

GHIANDA model is the starting: the first door with a curved “soft line” edge and a handle recessed in the door panel.

1983

Valcucine innovation path is starting with 5STAGIONI the first example of a modular “just-in-time” door in which the colour was added by a silicone trim. The “Mela ” model has the first door in the world coated with PVC

1986

It's conceived ARTEMATICA the first door in the world to have an aluminium frame not visible from the outside

1990 - 1999

This decade was marked by the company's cultural and ethical growth and by new, revolutionary products in terms or ergonomics and environmental protection, such as Ricicla.

1991

SEMANTICA is proposed as a new way of composing a kitchen by creating defined blocks.

1993

On FABULA coloured wood and doors with pictograms illustrate the Mediterranean dream.

1995

Valcucine was awarded the “GS” safety certification for all its products.

1996

Launched RICICLA program with an aluminium framed door and a 2mm door panel.

1997

New kitchen ergonomics with LOGICA SYSTEM

1998

Created Bioforest: the first environmental-protection association for manufacturers

2000 -2010

The new millennium marked the company’s global expansion and new ergonomic ideas, as well as new partnerships, markets and international acknowledgements.

2001

Valcucine is the first italian kitchen company to acquire ISO 14001 certification.

2002

Aerius wall unit totally new concept by an aluminium and glass structure.

2006

At Eurocucina was launched LA CUCINA ALESSI, by Alessandro Mendini.

2006

Confindustria Award for Excellence.

2007

Riciclantica perfected the Ricicla product improving the disassembly of the doorframe.

2009

Invitrum: the first 100% recyclable base unit in glass and alluminum.

2010 - 2020

For the Genius Loci and Sine Tempore kitchens, novel ergonomic approaches and new opportunities for customisation feature the collaboration of the best Italian handicraft experts. Additionally, Valcucine sets out on a new path with ItalianCreationGroup.
